When I called to order, they told me I have to activate by phone or on the internet after the unit is installed, but before July 31. I can then choose month by month or yearly.

Default Difficulty Getting Through!

Been trying for about an hour today, and can't get through. :\

I keep getting

"You have reached the Sirius accomadations program line.
Currently, all of our phones are tied up.
You can try us again during our regular business hours which is 11 AM to 8 PM EST or you can leave us a brief message . . "

and then it goes to the "leave a message drill.'

TWO HOURS LATER . .

Got through to Ken, and he was very helpful.

He said their phone system had been B.O. but it was working fine when I finally did get through.

He said I should expect delivery in three business days, and that the unit is being shipped from AZ.

Good deal Lucille! I can't wait.

Hey, I work for the Sirius Accommodations Line, which is handling the F&F program.
Don't worry, the phone lines are now up and running normally. We had a little problem with the phone company, but that's all been cleared up now. If you call between 11:00 and 8:00 EST, Mon-Fri, you'll get someone. If you get the message, just call back in about 5 minutes and you should get someone.

If you have any concerns, just post them here, we want to make sure that evey customer is satisfied!

I'm coming in late to this, but anyone know if this is still available? And do either of those units also have a line out (my head has a line-in that I'd rather use). Also, anything unusually large about these units? (I'll be putting it on my motorcycle.)

The receiver box is probably in the 4 1/2" x 7" range but I don't have the excact dimensions.

Not bad. These are the type that can be a hidden box right, with a small controller on the dash and the antenna seperate?

sorry to come along so late but is this deal dead now or are they still accepting orders? If they are, is there a date that they will stop accepting them?

edit: sorry, I just finished readingt this thread and see that it is still on as long as you activate before 7-31-03.

Instead of being restricted to 20 minutes, you can use Direct URL's in Windows Media Player to listen uninterrupted.

Just open Media Player, click on File, and Open URL.

Just ordered equipment today, couldn't have been easier...!
The rep did remind me to activate before July 31st, for a monthly payment,or it would automatically be billed to my credit card for an anual subscription payment.
