Good post DaJoker and I recently got a PM from a Sirius Rep on this forum calling me an XM Fanboy because I had countered his post by sharing my real time experience with these portables.

I too have asked for the source in regards to these heavy returns for the XM2GO tuners. I am not talking about what someone at a store told you either. I've read reports saying they've had up to a 50% return rate, but yet no source or real evidence to back up this claim. Like you I don't buy it.

I've said it over and over, but I like the basic concept of the S50, but the truth is they should have released a portable that can provide live reception, because otherwise you continue to give that market over to XM. 50 hours is nice, live is better, but having 50 hours with live reception and that big pretty colored display would have been KILLER! Fact is XM wouldn't have had anything even close to it. XM's R&D isn't sitting around, you can bet they have some cool things coming with the 4.0g chipset product line.

You know I LOVE SIRIUS, but we can't just look at all this with rose colored glasses and pretend that the S50 catches Sirius up with XM.

Wow... If you arent thrilled to death with the latest Sirius products, you're labeled an XM Fan Boy by Sirius Reps! That is a pretty ridiculous thing to be saying to the first SIRIUS FAN OF THE MONTH!!!!

Well, I guess it makes sense from a company who bleeps music and still maintains that they arent censoring...

Personally I would rather hear a review that mentions the products bad points as well as its good ones... That makes it unbiased, and much more credible...
