Default Sirius unveils first wearable with a color screen - the S50

http://www.siriusbackstage.com/blog/S50small.jpg[/img:5025d88d2c] http://www.siriusbackstage.com/blog/s50dock-small.jpg[/img:5025d88d2c] Sirius announced today, in the first of many new product and programming announcements coming, that the S50 will be a new satellite radio wearable that records up to 50 hours of content. It will only play recorded content, but it is about 1/3 the size of the XM MyFi, its closest competitor that has been released.

The color display includes the channel logo along with the other information standard on Sirius Radios today. The radio will retail for $359.99 and will be available in October.

There is also a docking station for this unit... This is how you will get live play...
Check out a photo of the docking unit: www.getsiriusinfo.com

Default Screen Size? Memory Size?

How large is this screen? What is the quality of the colors?

How much memory will it hold for my MP3s???

This makes me wonder... Those color screens can be used to post album covers, I always loved the album covers on the cable music stream I had. Is this the more grounded reason why Sirius has been testing video?

Please don't troll.

The unit comes complete with the battery, etc.

Looks like a mighty fine unit to me....nice job Sirius!! Just don't ruin it by pushing back the release date past the holidays.

How much memory will it hold for my MP3s??? How many GBs? Does anyone know?

Will it come with a case?

I know, I shouldn't defend a Sirius "release" date...

How do you know that there isn't a portable that will be revealed later in the day? Until then, go back to Wackbag.

im sure this is just the first of several other portable units being shown today. Some might not want video so lets just wait and see. personally for me if givin the choice i would get one without a video screen. its just not something i would need Most people like ipods n' walkmans so they can workout and have music Not much use for a video of britney spears on the treadmill.
