I'm excited about the super shuffle channel. I play Sirius in a warehouse with 14 co-workers who all have different tastes in music ranging from country, rock, pop, and rap. I think Super Shuffle will go over well at work. Some have even told me that they wish there was a channel that played a mix of everything. The only stream I will miss is Remix. But I like Boombox and Area 63 better anyways. So no big lose there. I also look forward to hearing some classic dance on the strobe. Also can't wait to here Stern. I think 2 stern streams is plenty. And can't imagine why he would need 3 streams. I imagine one stream for new/live shows and the second stream for reruns.

Default Swing Street Gone - BS!

Swing Street is being deleted? That's total crap. I have that station on constantly. If not on the receiver, it's on the PC. XM has nothing like that. I can't stand the constant shuffle of channels here or on XM. Get something you like and then they delete it. Bunch of crap in my opinion.

Perhaps you value your opinion more that other people do. Sirius is not programmed to meet just your needs or just my needs, it is programmed to attract and retain the most customers.

But is it commercial free? Didn't think so. That's one of the many reasons people get sirius or xm is for the commercial free music. There are plenty of FM stations that play top 40 music, but I bet sirius wont get rid of the sirius hits channel. Commercial free is a BIG draw.

OK, then get an iPod and stick it on shuffle.

I prefer elegantly and intelligently programmed channels.

True. But lately the only needs being met are those from Sprint and religious programming. BTW, why do you constantly feel the need to defend everything SIRIUS does?

Default Remix Gone...that sucks!

Remix is why I picked sirius over XM. This will now leave only 2 true dance channels...all of the XM channels are truly dance. Guess it's time to get XM.

Remix is an excellent channel. 24/7, non-stop dance jam is a big
value for our on-demand music broadcast. I'd rather see it stay
than endure the addition of religious or rock channels that I'll
never listen to.

Six months after I got Sirius, they deleted most of their best music channels and replaced them with the worst (Sept 29, '05). Hense I got XM on Oct 21st and doubt I'll be renewing my Sirius. I can't support a service that mimics commercial-FM.

I deleted it. Jeff had a link to this in his original post, so it really doesn't need to be directly posted to the forum.
