the new line up sucks, you removing remix and wax. the two stations that I listen to most. very disappointed from sirius, and I have only had my subscription for 2 months. this sucks, to many rock stations

I guess, according to you, that anyone who disagrees with you or has different musical tastes is a whiner? My feeling is that since we are paying for this service, and many of us are locked into a long term contract and/or have invested in equipment that can only be used with this service, we have a legit complaint when our favorite channels are removed from the service.

Just because you have no interest in that channel doesn't make us whiners because we do.
Not true. I like some of the changes and don't like others. It all balances out. Nobody likes everything offered. I see so many posts complaining about specific changes they don't like plus all the channels a particular individual wants to nuke. I just think the whole thing is silly! Sirius is going to constantly "adjust" the service in order to maximize the return on the investment. We all have a choice to subscribe or not.

I pay for the service also - on 4 receivers.

Actually, I'm told it's being merged with Standard Time 75, which makes some sense. I only hope they don't lose too much of either's content.

Why is it when these "changes" are done the rock stations aren`t touched?

I'm guessing it's because Sirius believes that the main consumer is a male 30-45 and they want their classic rock. The classic rock station are all different and sets it apart from XMs choices, just my guess.

Because rock is actually worth listening to.

The clear majority of Sirius subscribers is white males over 40. So you better get used to Classic Rock.

When the fans of other genres get off their duffs and make the move to Sirius, you'll see more variety.

Just don't mess with my "Super '70s" ... although my avatar below says I'm not listening to it.

Default LOSING FOLKTOWN IS A LOSS, BUT I'M BIG FAN OF 'XM'S LOFT '

I loved Folktown as much as Disorder, and losing it will be tough for a few days. Thanks to XM on AOL so I can listen to XM's stations for 'free' (AOL subscriber has it's price though, $23.90 a month) And I'm stuck to THE LOFT - It's a well programmed 'mellow rock' station that harkens back to my younger days listening to KNX/FM here in L.A. (A station that is truly missed by many- a pioneer of Mellow Rock/soft AOR in the 70's). The Bridge is ok, but I prefer the more acoustic style of The Loft - I never thought I would listen to XM - but Mike Marrone is the PD and we chat on triplearadio.com from time to time- A nice guy. I'm looking forward to the new Coffeehouse, even though I'm big on folk-rock, I don't drink coffee. Peace- JG

Have you gotten your's yet, SISO. Since you're in the same area, I was just wondering. I haven't received mine as of Thursday either. (On a sidenote, I work for the USPS at the main plant in Knoxville and my guess is they are setting in some bulk mail somewhere there. Some of the bulk mail has been a bit behind the past couple of days, so I bet that's what is delaying them in our area.) If they are oversized, they are probably going to be processed on a flats machine and that is where I work. I've been keeping an eye out but haven't seen any yet. But hopefully we will catch up a bit and they will be out in our area in the next day or so if they are there.
