Thanks Jeff! Very interesting, looks like some good new channels, not losing anything big.

Still no designations for left talk or my hopes and dreams, Sporting News Radio.

Overall I'd say this will be a good channel update.

Even though SIRIUS does not want to use the term 'Jack' format because of its FM ties, Super Shuffle is basicly top hits across all SIRIUS music genres mixed with other eclectic selection for good measure. Sort of like the iPod Shuffle. It should be fun.

This works for me. I like the Coffee House channel--I wanted something equivalent to the XM Cafe/Loft/Hear Music option for Sirius. The New Age channel is also a big plus.

If you like The Loft on XM, then you'll enjoy the coffee house.

Will they also add the new Canadian channels as well?

* CBC Radio One
* The new CBC Radio Three, dedicated to new music and new artists
* Radio-Canada’s La Première Chaîne
* Radio-Canada’s Bandapart, dedicated to new emerging artists
* New Canadian music channels brought to you by Standard Radio, featuring your favorite Canadian artists.

I like this, although I'm not sure of the name "Spa 73" for New Age, does that have some meaning?

All Traffic Cities get their own Traffic Channel.
The good: I can't wait for a JACK type station on Sirius, and the coffee house and new age stations sound like nice additions.
I'm guessing that the new Richard Simmons show will end up on that Lime station now (which I think has a silly name).
I like the call-in advice talk show idea too.
And finally, traffic on it's on stream. I live in Philadelphia, so I won't miss hearing about the delays in New York...

The bad: No 90s only stream or a movie soundtrack stream which I was really hoping for.
Also, Swing Street going away is kinda sad. The other 3 leaving I never listened to, but I'm sensing Remix seemed popular.
I thought Howard was getting 3 stations, where is the last one? Or does that have to wait until Jan.?

73 more than likely will be the channel number.. and when you think New Age, you think "Spa" atmosphere.. chilling out.. relaxing.. pampering..

I Like how they are catching up with XM in having both a Christian talk and rock station.

Relaxing, spa-like music on Channel 73.

Yeah, if only they'd catch up with a punk/ska/hardcore channel then I'd have no reason to have XM.
