Just like to re-interate very happy to hear that Bubba is coming to Sirius. I have been trying to hear Bubba for years and the only way i could was through internet radio and that ended too soon. I like Stern and Bubba.....
Bubba said it perfectly when he described the similarities btween hem and Howard..... Bubba is and i quote a little less refined than Howard and i totally agree can't wait to hear what they are going to do with him keep us posted. Howard and Bubba!!!!

I have been on the fence for a couple of years now about rather or not to buy a sirius radio. I have had XM since April of 02, but as of October 1st Im done. I cant Wait for BTLS, and Im looking forward to the other programs on Sirius. In my opinion it really seems that Sirius has much better programing then XM has, put thats just my opinion based on the channel lineup. I was listening to Bubba from day one on XM and was hooked from the first 10 minutes when I heard a bit about how Bubba was gay for Bret Farve??? (I have no idea how thats spelled). XM really messed up not getting Bubba on after his firing from Tampa. They knew how many people where huge fans, Ohhwell there loss. Now there loosing me (like they really care).

Sorry to bump this thead, just wanted to say that I'm another new convert. I've listened to Bubba the Love Sponge off and on for about 5 years. I just recently fell in love with the show again after finding the streaming best of feed on the site. I'll be purchasing a Sirius subscription as soon as the details about the show are posted.

As I understand, Sirius isn't regulated by the FCC. If this is correct, do you guys think this mean the end of Carnie on the BTLS?

That is correct, Sirius is not regulated by the FCC. Someone else will have to answer the 2nd part because I've never listened to the show.

Default When will Bubba start??

I know Howard said that there will be programming on BEFORE he gets there--Isnt it in Sirius best interest to have the channels going VERY soon, create a buzz and get people signing up NOW before the holidays?? Its human nature to wait to the last minute so it wouldnt surprise me to see alot of people wait till after the new year before they join---any info when something starts?

Ryan at orbitcast has a good article on the channel Here. I tend to agree with him.

I"m not sure the reason for the delay, I know the BTLS show is going to be broadcast from Tampa FL and BTLS is now constructing there studio, maybe that's the holdup. I've read some threads from the Stern show and I guess there both excited about it, Howard commented on how he hasn't been able to sleep and got up one night and was listening to promo's of the BTLS show, he then e-mailed Bubba and as it turns out, Bubba couldn't sleep either and replied back right away. I think we're all in for one hek of a ride, I've listend to Stern on and off, I have to admit, I like BTLS a little better, just my opinion. Stern's channels around here are spotty, I"m in the middle of his stick in NY and Hartford, CT, I"m on the road a lot and in a lot of the state, I can't pick up eiher signal. Waiting patiently to be albe to listen to both, once there on, I"ll be going to Sirius from XM, I've had XM since the start of satelite but am gonna jump ship as soon as the show starts.

This morning on Stern Bubba was a guest and he talked about how he was booted off Raw Dog yesterday cuz he started choking an intern demonstrating choking as a sex act. The head of Raw Dog hot lined the studio and yanked him off the air. LMAO imagine being too extreme for Sirius? Too funny

Then Howard started playing old Bubba bits which ive never heard cuz he's not in my market up in New York. Some dude named Ned did a prank call bout him being some gay dude tryin to find out if this retirement village had gay friendly facilities. He boasted he can perform oral as part of the afternoons events. It was pretty funny.

Those bits were actually broken up pretty bad, if you ever heard the entire gay retirey bit that Ned did you would have to stop to catch your breath after all the laughing. Since he owns all his own material, all the new fans are gonna have a great time catching up with all the bits, can't wait to hear them un-censored on satelite. Too bad Howard can't use any or most of his old material.....

why doesnt howard announce a date when Bubba starts to have a show--assuming its way before Jan 1 so to build up hype--I know Howard wants to get it right but he should be shooting for Halloween or enough time BEFORE the holiday season to build the hype--If they have blank noise till Jan 1 --sirius has missed a great opportunity
