I'm told it is over Sirius not picking up FOX NEWS RADIO (talk station) like XM did last week. Fox did not do an exclusive with XM, and FOX made that fact known last week..

I contacted the Sirius PR person for info, but nothing....

I just turned to FOX News and I am getting FOX News Live... it's not a loop or anything. And it's what is scheduled to be on according to their website.

It was nothing but ads for awhile, and then it went blank and now it's live. Wow, I hope Sirius gets this worked out. They can't afford to lose the #1 Cable news channel to give the competition an exclusive

I believe Sirius' contract with Fox News ends December 31, 2005.

I wonder if this is a bad sign that Sirius/Fox won't renew?

Something happened because when I tuned it it was about15 minutes of commercials without any live feed. Then the live feed kicked in. Usually commercials don't last longer than 3 minutes total.

I agree.

Although personally I think that the channel is a waste of bandwidth, it's still very popular and would give XM a big selling point.

Doesn't XM have closer ties to some of the bigger right wing media companies anyway?

Why would they pull it for an hour and then turn it back on? I wonder if Drudge picking up on it had an affect.

Man I hope they don't pull Fox News. Its the only news channel I watch/listen to. I am hoping if they do stay on with Sirius that Sirius picks up the Fox News Talk radio channel as well.

I also noticed on FNC they were advertising the talk radio with XM. I also chose Sirius because of Howard & Fox News, not saying I would ever give it up because they lose Fox News. It will just leave me without my favorite news people at my fingertips.

Well, it makes sense that Sirius would be non-liberal (Howard) and keep Fox News.

Since it's popular, I would assume they would be renewed.
