or maybe Sirius was planning on pulling Fox today, and when they did Drudge picked it up and it became a stink..... then Sirius put it back up.

You can speculate both ways on this one.

That's a good point. The mystery is what makes it fun to speculate. Although I would be very bummed to lose Fox. I don't think Sirius can afford to lose Fox or CNN--those are news staples that people expect to have on satellite radio.

I agree- I think Sirius needs to have more news channels, not take one away.

Dear Robert,

We're here to help! We appreciate the time you've taken to contact us
regarding Fox News. Good news! Fox News has not gone anywhere, it's
just moved! You can now listen to WRN Fox News Around the World on Ch.
140!

In our effort to deliver un-compromised coast-to-coast music and
entertainment for your car and home, we have to enhance our music and
entertainment lineup from time-to-time. This round of changes is a
direct result of feedback from listeners like you. And it?s just the
latest way we?re making sure that SIRIUS remains the premier satellite
radio service.

We are re-organizing the Channel numbers so it?s easier for a listener
to "surf." Now, if you like one station, it's more likely that another
you like will be just above or below it.

Well, considering Fox News is on 133, not 140, I'm not suprised.

How off is that reply? What is WRN Fox News Around The World?

I doubt we'll ever know what's going on, unless Fox is actually removed. And the more I think about it, I can't imagine Sirius letting that happen.

Beeper, Sirius did not dump AAR, AAR dumped Sirius. But that's another discussion.

Back with the fox discussion, I think we'll see Sirius renew their contract, I'm not sure what happened this AM, and we may never know. But, I think Fox is here to stay.

I don't see why Sirius needs 7 news channels. What would be the big deal if they let Fox leave.

Because it's the #1 Cable News Channel in the country, and is probably a sticking point with many current and potential subscribers if it was pulled.
