If you can manage to get off the couch after that tryptophan induced coma, then hustle down to Best Buy for some great deals on SIRIUS.

The savvy shoppers at Orbitcast have snagged some adverts featuring the SIRIUS Sportster Reply for $49.99.

Keep up with the deals in their Black Friday Watch.

Costco also has the Starmate Replay on sale for 39.99 after a 20 rebate.

What's the main differences between the two? I've been planning to get the starmate for my wife's car.

I thought the Starmate Replay gives you the option of having the 44 minute buffer so you can pause, rewind, fast foward content.

Edit: Sorry, I misunderstood your question. The Sportster gives you the game info also for the sports teams.

I try to stay at home on Black Friday...too many psychos out on that day and not enough ammo to get rid of them all.

Ditto. Besides you can usually get the best deals online anyway.

Has the FM transmitter been altered in these Sportsters or are those the ones with the 1/4 mile FM transmitters?

Whether you choose to use it or not, you should ALWAYS keep enough ammo on hand to clean out the psychos!! I recommend you stock up! Whenever I'm under a thousand rounds of anything, its time for a trip to www.cheaperthandirt.com!!!

I ended up getting my boombox and system for all together $50. The Starmate system looks very nice if you don't have anything for the home, or for somoene who has been waiting for a decent deal on a system to get a Sirius...

AAAAAARRRGGGHHHHH! I blew it. Left my wife in the car for a few minutes with my S50. Now she's like "I can't wait until you get me Sirius so I can start saving MY Songs." So much for a cheap unit... Now to find another S50 that's cheap and WORKS...

Any good deals for a newbie? I had Sirius a long time ago but my commute is 4 miles so I don't need it but my kid wants it for her car. I see on their website they are offering a free unit for existing customers but nothing for new customers. Is that because they don't want new customers? Any deals for returning customers? Also, I hear that the newer FM transmitters aren't very good. Any unit better than others for FM transmitting?

Having worked 4 black fridays at a Target (and thankfully, not working a 5th), there is absolutely no deal out there thats good enough to get me in a retail store on black friday.

Haha, it's fun, the adventure. CC will have the Starmate Replay with car kit and boom box for $99, that seems good. Even if I get the free one from Sirius it doesn't include the car kit or the boombox. I wonder if you buy the Starmate Replay with car kit and boombox now, pay $250 for example, will they price match it to their own ad a week later or is black Friday excluded from price match? I guess I can just return it if they won't do it.... Also, BB is having the Sportster Replay, $49, same thing, if I buy it now will they price match on black friday?

I wish someone had a deal on the Stellito's! They have XM's equivlanet with some extra stuff for $199.99

For real Sirius begininers who want something for their car, they have one of those Xcat things for only $9.99 at Comp USA or one of those electronic stores.
