Default Sirius Extends Holiday Rebates Until January 6th; S50 For -$20 After Rebate!

If you are still looking to pick up a radio for yourself or for someone else, it looks like Sirius has extended their holiday rebate! Purchase any of the radios below by January 6th, and get the $20-$100 rebate! Pair this with a $79.99 S50 from Best Buy(not available online) and assuming Sirius honors the rebate, that's $20 back overall! As usual, you need to activate the radio, in this case by January 20th, and the rebate information postmarked by January 31st, 2007. Enjoy!

Eligible radios:

Radios from Walmart, Walmart.com, Sam's Club, and Target(but not Target.com) are not eligible for the rebate.

$20 - Starmate Replay, Starmate 4, Streamer GT, Xact Replay

$30 - Conductor, Sportster 4, Streamer Replay

$50 - Tivoli, Alpine Tuner

$100 - S50

Update: I was too tempted by the Best Buy offer, so I called a couple up, found one with S50s, and bought one. Just so you know, they will not give you the separate rebate receipt, but it will hopefully work with the original receipt. Just send a photocopy; that's allowed in the Terms and Conditions.

If you can't find it in the stores its available online at Best Buy for $94. Not as good instore but saves you from running around or if they are out of stock.

This is great news. I picked up 2 s50s myself. The first one was $179 just before xmas, and the second one was $79 (to my shock when I was getting it cuz they were originally advertising it as $179). I got the first one price adjusted, and now I find out the one I got on the 1st can get the rebate now. Excellent.

BenDee - did you swap out older hardware with your new s50? And if so, are you expecting on receiving the rebate?

The reason I ask is due to the fact that I purhcased 6 - s50s for my family as hardware upgrades from their older hardware. I tried pre-certifiying for rebate and was denied because I did not "activate within time period". In fact I did activate within the time period of the offer but am wondering if Sirius will acknowledge the swapping of my older hardware??????

I haven't sent out my rebate form yet, so I don't know. They might not, but it is not stated in the rebate form that it is for adding an additional radio activation only.

I spoke with customer service and they said "submit the rebate form" to Sirius...

I hate to think I spent an additional $600 for the upgrade in HW.
