That makes sense given that it's nothing but another "Payola" channel that was launched strictly to promote and coincide with the opening of the huge box-office flop "Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector" and the latest Blue Collar tour. But, it would be somewhat unfortunate if that were to happen because it's almost like a Raw Dog 2 in a sense, only without the unnecessary talk-shows -&- it isn't just strictly redneck related humor. Hopefully if they do remove it, Raw Dog will move those aforementioned shows (Breuer and The Wise Guys) to a more appropriate channel like Stars 102 and make more room for the actual stand-up bits. Just my two cents.

Actually, I agree entirely. Keep Raw Dog as strictly stand up, move the comedy shows to Stars.

OutQ, he said, would stay within the "Entertainment" category, and that channel 109 is the first available channel in that category.

I made sure to point out to him that my service is up for renewal in a few days, and that the only reason I initially went with Sirius over XM was because of OutQ. I of course now know that Sirius offers a much better all-around product, and am addicted to Derek & Romaine!

Hope this helps,

I wonder if this will be when they add the new Canadian channels and open up a few more American ones to us north of the border.

OutQ is pretty much the main station I listen to (with some exceptions for weekends and the dreadful morning show)

they announced today they were moving to 109... why can't the new station go on 109 and leave OutQ where it is? it makes no sense, really.

Cool Why?

Why give Foxx a 24/7 channel. Does he have that much to say?? I called customer service right after I heard the news on the Stern show, and the CS said its moving, but no specific channel number yet. Like someone else said, why Sirius can't put Foxx on 109. Oh well, they didn't ask me I guess. Thanks.

Default Changing OutQ's channel number

Here is a thought regarding Out Qs current channel number and why it may be given to another program/channel: An experience I and other SIRIUS subscribers have had with our early model (series 1 and 2) receivers is that when the pre-set tuning becomes temporarily disabled, such as when switching to or from a "jump" station, the tuning knob moves you to the next consecutively numbered station instead of to your next pre-set station. If you are listening to the comedy channels and turn the knob "up", you can find yourself unintentionally listening to OutQ. I am not saying that is a bad thing in any way. It is just an example of how someone could stumble on to a certain channel because it is located so close to other channels and how one might never stumble on to another channel that was located (buried?) way up in the depths of the talk channel listings.

Just my 2 cents worth on this subject. I came to and stay with SIRIUS for the music. Of my 31 pre-sets, the only non-music channels are the 3 comedy channels, the radio classics/classic radio shows channel, and Playboy radio.

So after listening to Raw Dog and Blue Collar someone might get offended if they accidentally landed on OutQ? LOL!

Anyway, it was already posted why they are moving the channel. The reason is they want the all the comedy channels together.

Wow, that is such a bad name for a show. It sounds like a gay bar. Isn't the FoXXXHole right down the block from The ToolBox? I wonder if some regular Out-Q listeners will think they are just renaming the channel.

Other than that, it sounds interesting and I hope it will be successful. (Not that I have anymore listening time in the day...)
