Default 1 unit, multiple cars

I have a Stratus that I need to use in multiple cars. I need to be able to transport everything from car to car. Nothing will be permanently in any car. I was guessing that a suction mount is the way to go but I'm not certain what to do with the wiring and antenna. Does anyone have any suggestions or pictures?

I don't have any pictures, but I move my old Sportster Replay from my truck to my car everytime I go home. I have a truck antenna on my truck, and a dot micro antenna on my car, so all I have to do is unplug it from one, and move it to the other...

Works great for me...

I guess if I weren't so cheap, I'd by another car kit and just keep it on the car and just move the radio around from truck to car, not the whole thing...

I bought an extra car kit, and wired everything up so that I only have to move the unit and drop in to the cradle of which ever car I feel like driving that day. To answer your question though, if it wont stay permanently in any one vehicle why not just toss the antenna cable up on the dash and slap the antenna up on the roof through the door? I would break down and buy another antenna and run it so that way instead of dealing with a bunch of tangled wires all you have to do is plug it in.

Default fix

I just picked an easy mounting locaion in both cars where the wires will be the same length and E taped the extra so all I have to do is pop the antenna off the roof, remove the suction mount and install it in the other car. I picked the lower left side of the windshield so I would need less antenna wire and lay the others over the steering wheel, just hide the antenna wire behind the door rubber if you care.. Without buying another dock and antenna there is no cheap and clean way to do it.
