Default How long until I receive my Welcome Kit????

I'm somewhat disappointed.

When I signed up for Sirius at a car stereo store, I declined my email address since I thought, maybe, I'd get some marketing emails from the store. When I discovered that I could listen to Sirius online, without interruption, with an email address, I emailed customercare with my email address. I received a reply stating I would receive a password from Sirius within 10 days. Well, after a month, I emailed them again and finally received a password.

Now, I was told by a fellow friend/Sirius listener that I would receive a nice Sirius Welcome package in the mail in about 4-6 weeks. I also read various posts stating the same thing. However, it's been 2 months and nothing? Can anyone tell me when to expect this package, if at all??

Thanks!
Schwack

I never received a password or welcome kit either. I called Billing yesterday to update my information and go on the yearly plan and informed the woman that I had not received them. She said that they were sorry and that some others have been complaining about this also but she would send out the welcome kit << again >> that day. As far as the password she told me it would take about a week before it could be sent to me. I am about 6 weeks into my sub.

Blink,

Thanks for the update. One of my pet peeves is when someone says "someone will contact you in X days" and it never happens. Hey, if you're not sure, then don't say ANYTHING!!

I've been in my sub for about 2 months + and the music has been great however the customer care could be greatly improved.

What's all in the Welcome Kit... and are they still having problems getting them out?

Their is not really much in the kit, a letter, a laminated channel guide, and some other BS. I did not even get an online password in the kit. Though I have not had a problem with the tech support, everyone I have talked to is very friendly.

I just received my Welcome kit today. Of course, I had called them last week and asked about it (nearly 4 months into my sub). The guy I talked to said he was sorry and he was sending one out as we spoke.

As for what's in the kit, it featured a stream guide (an updated one that had OutQ listed), a welcome letter from Joe Clayton and a nice little sticker. It had the SIRIUS logo with Mongo and "It's_ON". I haven't received one from Jeff yet (damn U.S.P.S.!), so I'll display it proudly until I get a better one.

Rock On!

I called about my welcome kit about 3 weeks into my subscription and I received it around 1 week later. Not sure if it was because of the phone call or if it takes that long.

If you have the name and password then the welcome kit doesn't add much. Since I signed up on the web, I already had the name and password info. I do like the channel guide that came in the kit, and the little window sticker, although I have yet to install the sticker.

Default welcome kit

Can someone tell me if they got any rebates that accompanied purchases? I am counting on the $100 rebate I applied for when I bought my Clarion tuner from Crutchfield.

When did you submit it? I sent off for mine a couple weeks ago. I'll give it at least 2 months before I start to get worried.

Rebates take 6-8 weeks to process.

I just signed up for service a couple of days ago online for my equipment.

Got the equipment working, recieving signal in the car but I'd like to listen on my computer as well.

I try to use the email address and password I set up when I signed up online but it doesn't work.

Am I getting a WelcomePack as well? Do I need to wait for this till I can listen online? or should I just call customer service?

Thanks.

Send Sirius an e-mail with your e-mail address and password and they'll send you a password to use. I didn't want to wait for the welcome kit and I e-mailed them a few days after signing up and they e-mailed me a password the same day. An awesome thing is that the online stream allows multiple logons at the same time.
