Default Toyota Tacoma antenna Problem

What is the best way to mount the antenna on a 2000 Toyota Tacoma regular cab pickup? Crutchfield showed it going through the brake light but I couldn't figure out how to get it off. Also, I need to know the best way to disassemble the inside panneling (like the ceiling pannel) so I can run the wire in the cab after I get it through the light.

If anyone has successfully installed their system in a Tacoma I would greatly appreciate any help or advice you can give me.

Thanks

If you have $50 to spare, take it to a Circuit City. They wll do you a good job. May even be less money.

I have a 1997 4Runner.
I ended up running mine from the roof down the front window seal and through the door weatherstripping. I tried the brake light way and my roof rack was making my reception worse.
