Default Kenwood SR902 w/Visteon Mach 460???

I hope this is the right forum to post this... well, here goes.

I've been a Sirius customer about 3 months now. Using a kenwood 902 tuner and the 70 FM modulator. Well, I just bought an '04 Mustang GT with a "Sirius Ready" Mach 460 system. What I want to know is this - is there ANY way to get my Kenwood SR902 attached to the Mach 460 H.U.? The people at ford don't have a clue and just wanna sell me a $330 Visteon Sirius tuner. I say no thanks to that. I have been told that there are adapters out there that allow OEM H.U.'s to talk to aftermarket CD changers - so something tells me that there might be something out there that will make this work for me. Crutchfield is showing no adapters for Mach460-Kenwood.

I appreciate any help I can get on this!!!

Dave

Sorry, I can't help. But you might try over on crownvic.net

They have some people that are pretty knowledgable about Ford radios. Visteon itself seems to avoid public contact like the plague.

You could use a KCA-R70FM Controller/Modulator, sold by Kenwood for about $80... Although it defeats the purpose of having a Sirius ready head unit.

Do you have any idea what sort of socket is in the back of your H.U. to recieve the cable from an add on tuner? Pictures would be great
