Default Sony Multi Changer Adapter with Aux Input Adapter

Has anyone tried using the Sony XA-300 Auxiliary Input Adapter for Unilink Receivers with the Sony XA-C30 UniLink Multi-Changer Adapter? Do they work together? If so, is it better to put the aux input adapter first in line between the head unit and the multi-changer adapter, or put the aux input adapter on the output of the multi-changer adapter?

Thanks.

I called Crutchfield tech support today and they told me that the aux input adapter and the multi changer adapter will indeed work together. The aux input adapter has to be connected between the head unit and the multi changer adapter. I likely will order one in a couple of weeks and will post a reply as to how things worked out.

I just installed the Sony XA-300 Auxiliary Input Adapter in my system with the multi-changer controller and, yes, it does indeed work fine. With CD source selected, the Mode switch cycles between CD 1 (the first changer) then CD 2 (the second changer) then CD 3 Aux 1 (the first Aux input on the XA-300) then CD 4 Aux 2 (the second Aux input on the XA-300) and finally CD 5 USB (for the USB port on the XA-300).

I have a MD changer, and it is still recongized as well.

Neat!

The XA-300 goes first in the string, between the head unit and the multi changer controller.
