Default CR-SRF100 PANASONIC gets HOT!

Hey new user here....trying to work the bugs out of my install...Noticed that the Tuner Unit of the Panasonic CR-SRF100 get real HOT, while in use....Is this normal? Borderline, too hot

It's generation 1, it gets very hot. It's normal.

I've had my Panasonic CR-SRT100 tuner installed for a month and a half now and can tell you from experience that it does indeed get hot very quickly. In fact, it gets too hot to touch in a short manner of time.
