Default BMW OEM tuner and Terk antenna question

I just bought an OEM BMW Sirius reciever which has the dual antenna input and plan on installing myself. I bought the Terk SIR3 antenna and splitter and have a question. The colors of the connections on the receiver are white and blue. The SIR-SP splitter has a white connector and a greenish-tan color connector. From what I can gather, I may need an ALC Module between the tuner and splitter. This normally comes with the BMW OEM antenna package. Do I need this? Where can I get one? BMW will not sell it separate from the full antenna kit.

Thank for the help. Scott

You don't need the ALC. I did the same thing, bought the OEM BMW reciever and a different antenna. This was 1.5 years ago and have had no problems at all. Just connect white-to-white and blue-to-curry. You will probably have to force the blue/curry connector a little, but it's not a problem. A number of people on the BMW boards have done the same thing and I've never seen any reports of a problem.
