Has anyone installed a Sirius PNP device into this vehicle? I currently have it in the console and really don't care for it there. Would like it better in line of sight.

I have an '03 Avalanche and mounted my PNP3 where the ash tray should be. If you pull on the pocket where the accessory and cigarette lighter is, it will pop out. I then drilled two holes through the top pocket and through to the bottom of the top pocket. I then cut the bottom off two plastic screw-type mollys (so they would fit between the top and bottom pockets) and inserted them into the bottom holes of the top pocket. Then I drilled matching holes into the PNP3 base so I could screw the base into the plastic molly's to secure it (which you can do through the holes drilled in the top of the pocket). I then drilled a 1/2" hole in the top of the pocket to feed the wires through and it looks very clean now. I then popped the piece back into the dash and it works like a charm.

i recently put an XM MyFi in a 3500HD Silverado using a Panavise mount for the mounting solution, and he really enjoys its location. well within arms reach of the driver's position.

i have an extra one from an install i never did on a Suburban. $10shipped if you'd like it.

Give me until tomorrow and I'll post pictures - I went outside to snap some and (of course) the camera's batteries are dead. I've got them charging right now.

Brian: Any chance you still have the mounting bracket available?
