Default new Chevy Cobalt

I just recently purchased a 2005 Chevy Cobalt which is the upgrade of the Cavalier. My problem is that I took my sporster out of my Saturn but there is no place to put it in the new car.
I have taken it to 4 different places and they all say the same thing...no place to mount it without damaging the plastic in the car.
It is driving me crazy.
There has got to be someplace to put it.

What should I do?

Any way of velcro-ing it to the dashboard somewhere?

Better yet. Why not use the Arkon SR88 15" Flexible "Gooseneck" Steel Mounting Pedestal. It mounts to the bolt for the front seat and can be easily removed later.
