Default Install help Sirius Replay

I purchased 2 of the new Replay devices on Sunday from Best Buy for my 03 Mercedes C240 and 05 Saab 9-2x after being told that I could not replace the headunits in either car for the Alpine satellite radio ready headunits.
1. Because the Mercedes has fibre optics
2. Because the 9-2x is too new of a model

I take a bit of an issue with these as my C240 does not have the
Command system. It has the standrd MBZ radio w tape but it does have the CD changer in the glove compartment
The Sabb is built on the chasis of the Subaru WRX.
What I am asking is someone can tell me if and how to install these systems into my two cars. I thank you in advance for any and all help.

to SBS and the

Here is the install thread. While you may not find your exact vehicle you can get some great ideas here.

Here is a thread of useful install stuff.

I will tell you that if you want to just use the built in FM Mod, install is very easy. It is when you want to use direct connect that things get a bit complicated.

I am sure that you will get all your answers here.

Are you wanting to hardwire them? Are you wanting to use FM Mod?

Default There is an AUX INPUT AVAILABLE FOR MERCEDES

But the Price is astronomical. It is available from Soundgate, and I believe it goes for about $400. Most Aux Inputs are $80-$100. UGH.

I think Nicole can handle paying $400 for the Soundgate since both cars mentioned are around the $30,000 price range.

LOL. I can't afford the Blitzsafe or soundgates considering the cost of the 2 cars as you have pointed out. :-}}}
Think I won't go for the hardwire as too much trouble with the Fibre on the C.
I'll just do the basic installs tonite and start listening to some TUNES! I may however add the LC6 to both cars and get an amp. We'll see. That I think is a better use of my monies over the AUX port.
