Default JVC KT 1000 Display

I have the older JVC PNP. When i first power it up the display is slow and a little "jumpy" when it scrolls. Once it warms up after 15 or 20 minutes or so the display scrolls smoothly. It is then fine as long as you leave it on. Is this normal behavior or is this a warning of trouble coming. There are no other problems and no dropouts. I was hoping to use this PNP until the 3 G chipset comes out which proberly won't be until late fall / winter 2006. I want to try and make sure i have a good PNP to make it thru the winter as i won't be able to install another antenn up on the roof if we get a lot of snow. Now is the time to evaluate this.

That is normal, becuase the LCD is cold and so the text scrolling isn't smooth. It smooths out once it warms up as you have noticed. Depending on the color and rather the display is color on black of black on color it is more or less noticeable, but I think all of them do this.
