Default Good possibility!!!

I am cautiously optimistic but I am now using the sirius car antenna with my home stereo and hmmmmmmmmm so far, so good. Granted it has only been about 15 minutes. I seem to get a steady 6 bars hooked up this way.

I have been watching the bars and hmmm no fluctuation yet.

Oh my god!! I will be so happy if this solves my reception problem. Would there be any technical reason for this car antenna working much better than the home antenna??

Thanks and thanks very much for the suggestion, hmm sorry I forget who suggested switching antennas. Sorry.

I am gonna keep my eyes on the meter for a bit.

Default Yes

well it was my first move from the car to home. Can I get the same antenna separately from Radio Shack?

And geeesh they better accept this home kit back even though the packaging is mangled! Or I will be upset.

I wanna trade it for another car kit.

Possible? It has been well within 30 days.

Thanks

Send it back. I'm not sure about RS, but I have seen them at other places.

Check here.

Default Radio shack

Hmm that is different than what I have now with the Sportster. I am sure any car kit should work just as well.

Thanks for the link.

I am in "shock" still 6 bars and no drop outs!! Normally I would have drop outs by now with the home antenna.

Cross my fingers and race on down to RS across the border and can't forget to grab some "Jack in The Box"

Yay!!! I think the problem has been solved!!!

Off to Radio shack Friday or Saturday. About 45min drive.

Default Blaine or Bellingham

Hmm u know thats interesting you say that. I am not quite sure. I think I checked the Radio shack website but couldn't find any in Blaine although I did a google search and seems there maybe one there?

I guess if there is a RS there I could just exchange there instead of going to Bellingham?

Like any big chain.

Thanks

Hey thanks, I did look it up myself and called Radio Shack again. He said the closest one to the boreder was Bellingham and there use to be a store a couple of years ago in Blaine.

Here I come Jack in the Box!

Quick question: I just thought about this----the car kit won't work with home stereo correct?

What do you suggest I do since I need a car antenna but also car kit??

The car kit will work. You just have to find out what AC adapter you will need for power.
