Default Transfer to new receiver?

I did a search on this, but couldn't find anything.

Can a 1-year subscription be transferred from one receiver to another? Let's say I pay for a year of service, but sometime before that year is up I decide to replace my old receiver with a new one. Will Sirius move what's left of my 1-year subscription to the new receiver?

I seem to recall seeing something a while back (don't remember where I saw it) that their billing system wasn't capable of doing something like this. Was just wondering if that was false, or if it was true have they updated their system to be able to do this?

Yup, the switch isn't a problem and doesn't cost anything. Just give them a call when you are ready to do the switch and they'll take care of you. I did it when I upgraded to the Starbase that I recently installed in my car. Customer Service should have it all switched over in only a few minutes or so. After a couple of days I looked online to make sure that the old radio was no longer under my account and that the new radio was.
