Default Arkon air vent mount?

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the Arkon air vent mount ( http://www.xmfanstore.com/showproduct.php?id=sr047 )

I'm having trouble coming up with a mounting solution for my Sportster Replay in my 1994 Honda Accord. The VSM isn't an option because I don't want to cut into my passengers' legroom, and the only other place I can think to mount it is on the vent.

Thanks in advance

I haven't used one of these before, but it looks safe and sound.

Go for it and let us know how it goes.

I use the Akron vent mount for an Xact Stream Jockey in one car and an XM Roady in the other. It has worked fine for me. I am thinking about using it when I upgrade to the Sportster Replay.

I think this page shows an Akron mount with a Sportster Replay.

I have this for my Sportster and I both hate and love it. I love it because it's closer to me so that I can change the channels without having to strain forward. I hate it because it's not very sturdy. I have a 2002 Olds Silhouette Mini-van and the vent mount is in the center vent (installed by Best Buy because the double-sided tape wouldn't work). If I hit a bump the whole units bounces. At times, I have to hold it while driving so that it won't fall - which is has.

I wanted Best Buy to screw the unit into the dashboard but they refuse to do it because after awhile they said the screws would become stripped in the plastic dashboard and lose their hold. In other words - they didn't want to take responsibility for damaging my dashboard.

I'll keep the air vent but I'm look for other options.
