Default is this normal?

Hey michigan made or anyone... like i said earlier in the post, i got my modulator installed this morning(sunday) and everything works perfectly, all the channels on my pre-set button have all static aswell as when i do a seek,it goes through all the channels in my radio and stops on 88.5 which is what i have my sirius frequency on...now my question of curiousity which i'm not worried at all about but just curious is this...like i said.. all my channels have static except for 88.5, but one one of the local channels near my area, you can hear a little and make out what music is being played on that radio station, aswell as when im driving sometimes that station will be clear and i can hear the music/djs very well, then a few inches out that station will have alot of static like all the other stations have... my question is, that is it normal for a local station to have static blocking that station out then that radio station will come in a little and a little more with static and then be blocked out by static? i mean my modulator is working out perfectly, if it wasnt, my radio stations i have on my pre-set button would all be crystal clear and able to listen to them all, but it isn't.. all them channels have static and the seek button skips all the channels except what im using as my frequency which it is supposed to do.. so this is then normal what i asked above right?

When I had my SATSWB I didn't have this issue. But I really didn't hit seek that often to check it out. The few times that I did all stations were static except for the one that my Sportster was set to.

I wouldn't worry about it at this point. Your Sirius is coming in clear on 88.5 right?

BTW, when I had mine hooked up I set my Sportster to the strongest station that was available. I don't think it mattered though. But when I shut my Sportster off, I could here Howard on 104.1 WBCN, Boston.

Yeah its comming in crystal clear and perfectly on 88.5.... plus all the channels are statically even with that one station i was talking about, plus its statically on that station the majority of the time, like 99.99% and also that channel is very static with some music and all scrambling through but mostly its static, but like you said, nothing to worry about right? im sure this happened before to other people, maybe not you but other people im sure..; also, how do i find out the strongest station in my area?

I guess I kind of knew. I just picked the station that Howard Stern was on. Also it was a station that I could get all over the place.

Try 93.3, 94.3, or 107.9. These three are the strongest.
