Default Sporster car kit vs Sporster Replay car kit

Hi All,

I currently have a Sportster that I purchased last year. If I upgrade to the new Sportster Replay unit can I still use the same car/home kit or do I have to buy all new gear?

Thanks
-JD

The accessories for the Sportster all work with the Sportster Replay.

The newer kits may look a little different, but they all perform about the same.

You lose the 'color change' capability, but I like the blue screen on the Replay. Other than the obvious new capabilities, the Sportster and Replay are pretty much identical. The newer 2.5g chipset still runs a little hot, but, theoretically, it draws less power.

So go ahead and upgrade. Your investment in home kits, car kits, and boomboxes is safe.
