I wouldn't say entire country, next week everyone could be getting great signal. That's just how it is.

I live in the suburbs of Philly and I listen to Sirius all day long. My radio is pretty much on all day long. I have not had any drop outs at ALL....

I start with Howard in the morning, then listen to some radio stations in the early afternoon and then I put on Bubba when he comes on. No such drop-outs here.....

I replied: Yes, and that was how it was for me (and all the others who have recently reported reception issues) until a few weeks ago. BTW - someone from Philly actually reported unexplained signal drops at right around the same time my issue started last week. Dude, clearly there IS a problem. So glad it hasn't hit you yet.

The only question now is when will it be resolved?
Yo jlwn111...RELAX.....I am just stating what I HEAR coming from my receiver.....Maybe I have just been lucky so far........When something changes, I will sure be posting it on these forums.

Your causal attitude about this makes me wonder if you're simply a plant from tech support who is trying to mimimize the issue. It's been known to happen. Whether or not you're a plant, there IS a problem. Those us us who had nearly perfect reception up until a few weeks ago all know that.

The only quesiton now is when will it get fixed?
Yeah, you caught me...I am a plant from Sirius Tech support....

Come on, you have to admit that it is a little strange that ALOT of people from all over the country are complaining. Whether Sirius admits it or not there is a problem, but it may be caused by sunspots, atmospheric anomolys or Sirius itself. I wish that someone from tech support would answer the questions that have been around for the last few weeks.

I NEVER said that there were no problems anywhere....I just stated that there are NO problems with my receiver where I live....

It's most likely is a repeater issue. Yesterday I was getting periodic dropouts (with full signal mind you) but only while receiving the repeater signal. Outside the city with no repeater signal my reception was fine.

Exactly. Thank you. BTW - based on the thread start dates, it seems as though we're entering Week 3 for this particular issue (previously getting a great signal - now getting frequent signal drops).

12:21 (right now) - "Acquiring Signal" in Lawrence, KS.
I'm lucky, I have the large outside home antenna, so at home signal is good but in the car I get a few dropouts. But you can't deny the rest of the threads.
