Default Atlanta Repeaters

Wasn't sure where to post this...I work in an office building in North Atlanta (Alpharetta, really), and I pick up Sirius in the office via a terrestrial repeater somewhere in the area. This morning the signal has been really jumping between 3 bars and 6 bars and no bars. There had been discussions a while back about having a sticky thread for repeater updates, but I can't find it again.

Anyway, for those Sirius elite among us, please check the repeater in Alpharetta! Thanks!

Bump, as it's just started happening again. It was OK until about 10:30 this morning.

I think you'll have better success writing to Sirius at their web-site or calling customer service. Push hard to speak with a supervisor in your contact with them. I don't think they read this forum, at least the Sirius folks that need to probably don't. Do you show no terrestrial signal on your radio?

Since I'm inside the building, the terrestrial is the only signal I get. And for some reason (as it's happening again this morning), the signal gets weak and goes to three bars (out of the max of 10), when it's usually at least 6 or the full 10. I'll try e-mailing again--I tried that once before, and it took them like 3 days to respond to me with their canned response.

New Orleans repeater(s) must have been out earlier this week because I had the same problem. I wasn't able to get an answer here.

Where are you?
I'm in an office building on Windward Parkway in Alpharetta.
That would be so cool if I could get Sirius via a repeater here but I doubt it...

Yeah, my office is on Windward, on the East side of 400 about 3 lights down, just before you get to Mellow Mushroom. It's interesting, I actually don't get the repeater when I cross under 400, but I get it in my office.

Are you in one of those two office buildings just before that shopping center is?
You don't work for McKesson, do you?

If I had a prize to give you, I would. I assume you're here as well? I work on the 5th floor of the West wing (the wing that's not above the cafeteria).

Well, since our company is now timing how much you spend on an online streaming service, I'm back to using my receiver, and the terrestrial has been borderline off-line this morning.

*BUMP*

From a while ago...if anyone out there is reading this, I'm only getting 1 bar for my terrestrial service. About once an hour it bounces to two, but otherwise, it's one bar (3 bars on the "long" indicator) and "Acquiring Signal". I'm even sitting at a window and have my antenna on the windowsill, but I guess I'm on the wrong side of the building to get a signal from the satellite, darn it.
