Default "No Signal" after a few minutes

I have all brand new equipment, a JVC-AVX2 and SIR-JVC1 Sirius connect tuner.

Every time I turn the equipment on Sirius only works for 30 seconds to a few minutes then goes to "No Signal".

Has anyone seen this type of behavior before? My antenna, that came with the unit is mounted on the roof of an SUV with clear skies. I dont know if I should try to replace the unit or the antenna or if there may be another solution. Both the J-BUS connectors and the antenna connector clicks into the SIR-JVC1 unit.

Any suggestions???? I am going to call directed electronics tomorrow to try to find some other options. I hoep to get this working flawlessly by Saturday.

Thanks!!

Alex

If the connectors are all snug, my culprit would be the JVC tuner box. Since it's all brand new, you should be able to return your tuner for a new one.

Do you know anyone else that has SIRIUS and will let you borrow an antenna for testing? You could quickly hook up the borrowed antenna and verify that it is either the tuner or the antenna.
