Default please help suction cup install

this morning i was installing my radio my only problem is how do you make this suction thing stick to anything? call me stupid but it didnt come with instructions and i can figure out how to make it stay put. it keeps faling off.

Almost all of the suction cup mounts have a lock that you have to lock in order for it to work. It's like a lever that you have to pull towards the window.

spit on the suction cup
push it very hard against the glass
then push down the lock
should stay for a few months like that- repeat as needed

i figured out the problem. i dont want a glass mount. i want it mounted to the consoul ( black piece in the center front of my nissan)..so i took some velco that i had. putr one side on the cup and one side on the black piece. and there. i did it why would you mount a radio to your windshield?

I hate the suction mounts, I think they look ghetto. I love my bracketron mount.

just for your info: velcro is what i used in one car for an install, the industrial velcro from lowes. It will melt completely off in the hot weather. Last july here in ny, when it hit 95 degrees and the car was in the sun all day, the velcro would melt and the radio would be on the floor

ive used it before. its professional grade. plus i mounted it so if it does fall it want go but about an inch i mounted it standing up.
