Default HURRAY!! S50 came Today!!

I finally got my S50 back today. It was in for warranty repair since April. What a surprise to find it in the mail today. As many times as I posted to let everyone know how bad the warranty dept was, I wanted to let you all know they finally came through for me. I hope that they will take care of all the others who were in this similar situation.

I hope this new radio works!!

Now on to my defective Starmate Replay. I hope they can take care of my Replay faster than they did the S50......

Default I'm BACK!! and MADDER THAN EVER!

I wanted to see if anyone was in the same situation, and if you could possibly offer some help. To quickly recap, I bought a S50 and it never worked right from the start. I sent it in for warranty repair and waited almost a year to get it back due to the FCC/Fm transmitter situation. I finally get the radio back from warranty in Nov 06. I finally get around to installing it today. What a surprise to find that the radio does not transmit to my Fm receiver. It has been "castrated" by the FCC. After an hour on the phone with customer service, and three CS reps later, I was told I needed a FM direct hook up that has to be plugged in directly to the car radio.

I have to say that this would require a professional install. I am sure at a big expense. (Although $$ is not the issue) The point is that the S50 was cursed from the start. It was the "top of the line" when it was purchased. Sirius did not handle this radio and it's problems well at all. I am sure they knew that they were sending me a radio that would not transmit to my car, why not include the extra part as well as an authorized install. That is the least they could do for the customers who bought the top of the line, and got sh!t in return.

any comments would be appreciated.

ps I never sent my starmate replay in for repair, fearing the warranty dept nightmare. So the lights on that radio are still dark!

I hope it works , I've been on the phone all day because the replacement S50 they sent me just crapped out. So to date I've had 2 S50's that worked for about 6 months total.
