Default Using FM modulator = mono sound? T or F ?

I've searched and searched and I read in one post that using an wired FM modulator is making everything come out in MONO and not STEREO. then I read in another post that it is still in STEREO.

Other posts I read that only way to get STEREO is with an AUX connection input.

So which is it?

LOL, the more I read about all this the more confused I get!

The direct FM adapter, is nothing but a switch.

When your Sirius unit is off, the car antenna is connected to your radio as normal. When you turn your Sirius unit on, the car antenna is switched off and the FM OUT from your Sirius unit is connected directly to your car FM radio.

This switch does nothing to the FM signal that is generated by the modulator built in to your Sirius receiver. It can't make it mono or stereo.

It has the same sound as if you were using the built-in wireless fm modulator, of course with alot less static or interference.

We use the FM modulator on our car using the XACT Visor. The audio is definitely stereo.

Are you using the Audio out or the headphone jack for the XACT output? Mine isn't working...

As I said, we are using the FM modulator of the XACT Visor. That modulator is built-in to the Visor. And Sirius is definitely in stereo when we listen to that on the car FM radio.
