Default FM Stations in Cincinnati?

I've got a Sportster Replay (the FCC version) and am currently using 90.5 FM, but sometimes get a lot of static. What other channels are people using?

I've heard from a friend 87.7 is crystal clear, but my FCC version doesn't go that low. I'd love hardwire it, but I have an 04 Taurus with the radio in the trunk. DOn't want to go through all the trouble/expenses with that.

I live in Liberty Township and work in Mason/Fields Ertel area. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Type in your area code on the site and it will give you good stations to use... Again I say, why isn't this a sticky? I think this would help lots of people without the direct connection.

I tried that and the station that it said is the best option actually got more static than any of the ones I've tried. None of the stations it recommended got very good reception. Some of them actually had the fm station breaking through the Sirius programming.

I think they say to also try the stations right around the one they recommend. Unfortunately, it is not a perfect science. Stations bleed over, some get randomly good range, or randomly bad. That site is just a little help to get most people started. I know that for me it works most of the time. But nutt'ns perfect.

Default I feel your pain

Good luck with the reception in the Cincy area, especially with the new FCC required FM Transmission. Cincy is the worst city in Ohio to get a good FM Channel. Two things to try. 1.) If you have an external, non electric, AM/FM antenna and don't use AM or FM any more just unscrew your antenna off the car. 2.) If you have a built-in AM/FM antenna go to your dealer and have them unplug the antenna connection. IT seems to help a bit more.

I also think Ford now has some type of aftermarket AUX input box that can be installed into the car, there would be a box under your dash that you connect into the AUX and that would cover your problem. I have seen it available on the Focus, I don't see why it wouldn't be available for your car. GOOD LUCK!!!
