Default Audiovox SrSir-001

I have this original audiovox radio srsir-001 that has stopped working in the last month or two. Now when I turn it on all I get is "invalid channel" on all channels or "loading".. If I mess with it for 30 mins or so, sometimes I can get it to work until I turn off the car. Other times it will work for a min or two until I change channels and then say "invalid channel". I was told that I need to do a hard reset on the unit but can find no info on doing so. I know how to do a soft reset which is a sft 0931. I hope someone knows how to reset this unit. ]Thanks
