Default Starmate Replay freezing up

I've had my ST2 for about 3 months now. Recently it started exhibiting the following behavior: if I have it playing from behind real time, it will occasionally freeze up, that is, all of a sudden it will go completely quiet, and I also cannot move forward or back in the buffer. If I change channels or turn the receiver on/off, all is well again. Anyone else experience this? I'm also wondering if it could be a symptom of overheating, as this happens at home where I tend to leave it on for very long periods of time.

Default

This has happened to me as well. Most recently the other day. I didn't have this problem until about 3 or 4 months ago. It has done it maybe 3 times, on both my starmates.

The other day I don't think I had it on that long, and it occurred, so maybe overheating might be the issue. I don't have an answer though, maybe some else here will.

Your TUNE buttons are sticking and causing this behavior, perhaps try and clean those contacts with electrical cleaner (blue shower) if you are a techy,if not find a techy.
