Wow, Grunt. You can afford that fancy receiver, but can't pay the 15 year-old next door to set it up for you?

Look for a small round hole in the back of the dock with the words 'Line Out' or 'Audio Out'. The dock should have come with an adapter cable. If not, order one from TSS.

If you have some wierd home dock without an audio/line out, this is a great opportunity to upgrade to a SCH-1 or Conductor. (Woohoo! Spending money rox!!) They have optical digital outs, as well as RCA outs.

Before you do anything else, though, try adjusting the 'Line Out Level' using the receiver menu.

Good luck, rich guy!

Plug the inputs into the AUX-IN on your Yamaha. If you're already using the AUX, you can use the TAPE or CD, or some other input jacks. I use the TAPE-IN jacks on my home theatre receiver.

And make sure everything is plugged in all the way. That could be the cause of your hum.
