Default Sportster Replay in Home

I had my sportster replay stolen out of my car last week. I purchased a new sportster replay w car kit (I have the boombox so I didn't want to buy a newer model).

Is there any way other then buying an converter for the lighter adapter to power the dock?

I'd like to know if an adapter I have around the house will work with the dock without frying the radio. That way I can use the dock, antenna inside and save buying a home kit.

YES! Radio Shack has it. Like 25bananas (that's GANGSTA TALK for 25 dollars).

Do a quick search on here for the specific product but that's what I use all day long without problems.

Be careful with the AC power supplies. You'll need one that can provide 1-1.5amps. These radios draw some current! Many of the smaller & cheaper power supplies do not provide that kind of output.
