Default Odd sound quality issues

I recently recieved the Xact XTR8 Replay Sirius reciever as a gift, and connected it up in my car, initally with the FM transmitter. Since Orlando has so many FM stations, it was hard to find a clean station to use, so I switched to using the line output of the unit, and got an adaptor to connect it directly to my Pioneer head unit. Initially, the quality was great, albeit not quite CD quality, but 100% better than FM reception. Recently, however, my reception has gotten some sort of weird distortion. The best way I can describe it is when the DJ's talk, it sounds as if they're talking through one of those voice changer toys. Its odd, because I'm not getting any signal dropouts or anything else.

I have the same issue, I haven't listened to Sirius for about 4-6 days, but now listening to Stern it sounds like they are distorted.

Anyone else notice that today it seems to have cleared up? No more reverb... I'll have to check tomorrow to see if it stays that way.

Yes not only has it cleared up, but I think the channels all sound much better.
