Default Yahoo Widet to listen online requires WMP9 but I have Flip4Mac

http://widgets.yahoo.com/gallery/view.php?widget=38478

says Windows Media PLayer 9 is required but I cant seem to get that to install.

I have Flip4mac.

cant get the widget to play songs.
I get logged in , can see all the stations but when I try to listen to one, I get message window asking me to install WMP9)

I am thinking the widget is not flip4mac enabled, any way to fake a symbolic link from flip4mac to wmp9?

(I have Mac Os X 10.4 w/ intel)

If I try to use Firefox or Safari, I get message box that says
Alert The URL is not valid
(message from flip4mac)

I have tried to cut and paste the URL into VLC either just get sent back to 'OPen file' dialogs or sometimes message about mms: not supported.

I have no experience in OS X but I would say to go onto the Flip4Mac forums and ask why this is happening.

Don't go to the Sirius web page. Use the Firefox Extention insted.

Get it here. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3546/

Also, make sure you have your user I.D. and password entered (go to widget preferences - then to the "Sirius" tab). A simple item but it is easy to overlook.

cheers -

I have used the Firefox extention with the same results of "The URL is not valid". I have reviewed the flip4mac forums w/o much help ;-( will wait for reply from there, thanks!

... went to flip4mac forum and found answer ....

Deselected following check box to insure it uses plugin ...
[System Preferences]-->[Flip4MAC]-->[Launch Quicktime PLayer]

thanks to all
