Default power plug

Mods, please delete this thread.

My Starmate spent most of its brief life in my Jeep. That means I plug and unplug it alot to stash it in my console. I have noticed lately that if I even if I bump it while it is mounted, it will power blink out and come back on. I know the problem is inside the unit where the power plug goes in.

Has anyone here opened up their units to do some self repair? I was thinking that maybe a little solder on the backside of the connector would cure it. This possible or am I buying a new one?

Its the cheap connecter Im willing to bet your unit is fine. I would take it apart and solder it down like i did. Then drop some hot glue in the hole so the wire won't move around. All the sirius units are shit on the power connector especially for my bike where the damn thing vibrates out....
