Post Using Audi A3 OEM sat plugs with my s50

Hi,
Just picked up my new car and i have already used the PIE XM5-vw to power and use my changer port on my radio. It sounds awesome. Now id like to get rid of that ugly antenna and use the OEM plugs in the trunk area. Now the way it looks is the audi has two plugs for the antenna, but the s50 has only one, so is there a converter that goes from a 2 wire antenna to a single antenna and extension antenna cable which will plug into the back of my s50 that anyone can recommend for me to use? Thanks for your help.

J

im pretty sure its the same on all oem tuners...
the one plug, if you look at your car manual, may be the satellite cable (mine was yellow) and the second one is a terrestrial or repeater plug, ...i think..

i remember reading that in the manual (not at home right now), so if you just use the yellow one, you should be ok...

i think you have to take off the covering though to unveil the cable that goes into the plug and play kits

It is fairly expensive. Try contacting brianrwebb@comcast.net and see if he can help you out. That's the guy who makes them for us.
