Default first thread.....need help!!

hey guys and gals

ive been SIRIUS for about a month now and just put a stratus in my wifes 2004 Jetta TDI. We are using the FM transmitter thing but the static is unbearable. we are in toronto canada and almost every station is full (if anyone in toronto has any suggestions let me kno!!)

anyways, i was wondering what my options are to hard wire the unit. the stock system in the Jetta does not have an aux mode so im not sure how to accomplish this.....

Option 1 - Search forum and you'll find hundreds of posts with the same problem, and the same solution.

Option 2 - Buy a wired FM modulator relay and install it in your car.

Another option is to post with a subject that better represents the kind of help you need. I agree though, the hard wired modulator is the best way to go.
Customer: "But it sounds like hell."
Sirius: "Don't worry, it always sounds that way."

Yo Pete!

Try 90.7 seems to work the best for me commuting from Milton to downtown.

Also, did your Stratus come with a little wire that you can plug into the FM out port on the back of your car dock? If so, use it. It made a big difference in reception.

The hard wired FM modulator really is the way to go. Check these guys out. They seem to know their stuff and have a large amount of products in stock.
