Default Antenna Install in a Late Model Corolla

I'm hoping some of you have one of the newer 2003+ Corolla. Some has to, it's the most common car in the world. Anyway, the Corolla has it's regular FM antenna at the center back of the roof, where most people put their Sirius antenna. So, what is the next best place to put it? Does it need to be on the roof, or would the top of the trunk work? Anyone ever put their antenna on the center front of the roof? Thanks.

The antenna doesn't HAVE to be mounted on top, but anywhere else has a better chance of losing reception...
Mine is located on the middle roof... You can mount it wherever you want... Most lazy shops mount it on the dash in the center...

I have sat antenna on the top of the trunk and I get full reception coverage.

mine is being installed today. We put my wife's up front basically above the rearview mirrow on the roof. They ran the wire down across the windshield (hidden underneath the rubber track) and down through the hood. It's a very clean looking install. I am having them run it the same way in my 04 corolla S. She gets 3 bars of signal and has never had a drop. I'm hard-wiring the audio jack though and not using a modulator, as I have an after factory system installed.
