Default Tuner mounting location in 2000 Ford Focus

I'll be installing a Kenwood headunit and SIR-KEN1 in my dad's 2000 Focus sedan, and I have no idea where to put the tuner. I don't really want to go under the seat, are there any other convenient locations? Also, I don't know how to rip apart the car and remove the center console and whatnot, so running the cable might be difficult unless anyone has instructions. Thanks

Wow. Stop right there.
You dont need to rip the dash board, if you have the stock radio that comes with the focus, look closely you will see it has 2 holes in each side of the front panel (radio itself) I was looking for some pictures to post couldnt get into those websites (work block) Anyways what you do is crab a hanger and cut it, bend it so it will have a U form, place one U in one of the sides until it clicks in the inside, do the same with the other side of the radio.

Once they are secure in the inside just pull it out. Be careful at this point, the harness is kinda delicate. Now after the radio is out then is just a piece of cake.

The tuner box you can install it in the trunk. Just lift up the car matt on passegenr sides. And just run it to the back. If it was me ill just have under the drivers seat. But thats up to you. Need more help? I have the same car but 2002 so i can help you plenty.

Here is the tool you need to remove the radio. The hanger thing i did and it worked i dont know if you wanna go for it.

Yeah, I know the head unit is real easy, I already got the tools and instructions from Crutchfield. It actually looks too easy, I'm concerned stealing it would be quite simple should anyone ever break in. By ripping up the car I meant for running cables for the tuner and all that.

I could go under the seat I suppose, what would be the best way to run the antenna wire and the cable that connects to the headunit? I want it to remain hidden. I also don't want to drill anything, would velcro be sufficent to hold the tuner should I put it under a seat?
