Default Is this normal?

I just purchased and activated my Sirius InV. Had to take a trip today from Pennsylvania to DC. With every new city I drove through, I had to change the FM frequency on my car radio and on my InV in order to get anything on the Sirius. I understand dropped signals here and there but I couldn't listen for more than 5 minutes at a time. Is this normal for satellite radio to do this? I had the antenna on the roof of the car and had a good clear sound before leaving Pennsylvania. I got so frustrated, I just turned it off.
The Sirius wasn't showing any "aquiring signal" or anything like that. I would just lose the signal coming through. Really not worth $12.99 month if you have to keep switching FM frequencies while on the road. Is there a setting that I missed? Thanks for any help..........
(the frequencies were set the same on both the radio & Sirius)

Yeah, sometimes when you travel from one city to the next, you'll have to adjust the FM frequency for a better signal.

You could avoid this problem all together by purchasing one of these ...

Not expensive, and it will upgrade your sound quality.

if possible use a direct aux in connection to car stereo. if you have a cassette player a cassette adopter can also be used. both are better then FM .
