Post Setting up Sirius Satellite Radio in Alaska

I'm planning to buy a Starmate 4 off the internet and I want to get a lifetime subscription... However I live in Alaska, how do fellow Alaskans activate service? Do I have to do any special tricks because I'm trying to buy a radio over the phone and I'm having a hell of a time because they can't seem to ship it.

I realize that it isn't officially supported here but I've seen users such as AZ able to use it... Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

I think generally, Alaskans (like Joe) use an address in the lower 48. Sirius will send almost nothing to the address, so it won't matter much to you. Pick a location (unlike Denver) which does NOT have any satellite radio tax. A search may give you some ideas...
