Default 2004 Nissan Frontier

Can someone please tell me if the SIRIUS Wired FM Modulator Relay will work directly with the factory stereo system without an adaptor on a 2004 Nissan Frontier? I have search and cannot find an answer to this. Thanks.

I believe you do not need an adapter for it, just the older Frontiers.

Thanks you were right. Now on the Sportster 3 outlet cord, which is positive? I am going to connect it from behind the cigarette lighter. Thanks

I don't know, and I was wondering the same thing when I installed my PNP3 last year. Instead, I opted to keep the cable intact for better resale value and no fried radio, went to RadioShack and bought an 'accessory outlet'. It's $7.49, and I just connected that to the radio underneath the center console. IIRC, that faceplate comes off for a smaller footprint.

I think I will do that. Sorry if I sound stupid but can I splice the two outlets together? The outlet comes on and off with the car and I want to keep that functon.

You should be able to. The power outlet kit comes with a blue "wire tap". All you need to find is a good ground.
