Default Alpine CDA-9853/Sportster hard-wire question

Hey guys, I got a Sportster Replay for X-mas and installed it a few days ago. I can never find a good signal with the FM transmitter, and I commute so I run through alot of different areas with different radio signals being vacant. I think the best option would possibly be to hardwire the unit to my head unit. Would like some input on that though. Also, my head unit is Sirius ready, genius I am should've asked for the sirius/alpine tuner . How would I go about wiring it? Would I need an ai-net cord that goes directly to my car dock? The only wires I could find online were ai-net-RCA (female) and RCA(male)-to the cardock, but that would be 40$ total.

ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks ahead of time!

This is all you should need to hook up your sportster to your alpine

This plugs in the back of the head unit, and you run your audio out cord from your sporster to this adapter. Somewhere in your head units manual should be a section on turning the aux input on. Then all you need to do is push the source button, and there's the sirius.
